The SLDC Process
You can expect a seamless on-boarding process when working together. Here’s a peek at what it’s like:
1. Consultation & Proposal
Upon filling out our form, we will schedule a free consultation where you can share your company story, challenges and goals for your project(s). We’ll decide on a solution of deliverables and how we’ll work together (custom quote, retainer, or package) and make it official through a proposal and contract.
2. Kickoff Call
Next is a deep dive strategy call to talk details. Sometimes this is your chance to share more info about your services, or SLDC will share a strategic gameplan on a proposed solution for our project. Either way it involves fun discussion combing through all the details needed for us to get started.
3. Design & Ideation
We’ll get to work on creating design concepts and first round visuals. This involves competitor research, sketches, strategy and implementation. Placeholder copy is used to complement the content of the page so you get an idea of user experience if the project calls for it.
4. Presentation & Feedback
Time for the fun! SLDC will walk you through design on a call where you can share initial feedback and revisions if necessary. We also like to give you time to sit with the design for a couple days to gather your thoughts and collect feedback so we can be very specific on the next round of finessing before final delivery.
5. Refine & Deliver
SLDC refines some more down to every pixel and prepares all files for final delivery. We always promise all original files to our clients along with high-res, ready-to-use images. For web designs, we will also walk you through how to make simple edits to your site with a complementary training.
